She was predeceased by : her parents, Virginia Cruz and Raphael Garcia. She is survived by : her husband Nelson M. Puente; her children, Yolanda, King Chu, Lurdes, Dino Tortorelli, Nelson, Nellie Puente and Luz-Estelle Puente; and her great grandchildren, Annalie, Liam, Elsie and Ariana.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home - Hudson Chapel (9944 Hudson Ave, Hudson, FL 34667). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
