She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferruccio Compostella and Angeline Compostella; her husband Roger C. Braun; and her brother-in-law Gael O'Connor (Jack Billings). She is survived by: her sisters, June O'Connor and Dora May Billings; her brother-in-law Allen "Buddy" Price; her close friend Anna Lavergne; her nephews, Patrick O'Connor (Lori), Michael O'Connor and Steven Billings (Jess); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson, Sean, Brian, Ivy and Sage; and her cousins, Eugene Compostella (Arelys), Joseph Compostella (Jennifer) and Louis Compostella (Kim).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HPH Sturgill Hospice House in gratitude for the compassionate care provided to Mary and her family.
