He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Pons-Nicolau and Carmen Ruiz-Guzman; and his siblings, Eduardo and Emma. He is survived by: his wife Emilia Del Carmen Pons; his daughters, Sonia Ewell (Richard), Mayte Pons and Lazi Gomez (Victor); his grandchildren, Christina, Andrew, Mathew, Ryann, Preston, Ariana, Fabian, Evelyn, Isabel, Dalton, Ashley, Austin and Maria; his great grandchildren, Noah, Olivia and Jasper; and his brothers, Hugo and Gustavo.
