He is survived by: his wife Kelly Berlin; his son Joel Berlin (Alessia); his stepchildren, Steve Putnam and Amy Noerr (Ben); his grandchildren, Edison Berlin, Austin Dupertuis, Isabella Aguirre, Gloria Putnam and Lauren Putnam; his siblings, Chris Berlin and Carol Wierman (Jack); his nephew Aaron Wierman; and his nieces, Candice Berlin and Grace Berlin.
