William C. Granning Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, at the age of 97, William C. Granning of Hudson, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Granning and Rose Granning (Dolatowski). He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Wisler (Wayne) of Hudson, Judith Beelaert of Sparta and Mark Granning (Kathleen) of Punta Gorda, Florida; and his wife Lillian Keck. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Prevatt Funeral Home & Cremation Service (7709 State Rd 52, Hudson, FL 34667). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Prevatt Funeral Home (7709 State Rd 52, Hudson, FL 34667). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bushnell National Cemetery.
