He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary O'Rourke and Raymond Rafferty; his wife Carolle Leger Rafferty; his daughters, Kristina Thompson (Jason) and Heather Salinas (Roberto); his stepchildren, Jared White (Devon) and Jehnna White; and his siblings, Dennis Rafferty (Joanie), Brian Rafferty (Michelle), Barbara Layden and Kathleen Drossos. He was also cherished by 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
He loved learning and practicing the art of Krav Maga or flying on WWII planes whenever the Historic Flight Foundation was in the area.
