He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Trinidad Betancourt and Rebecca Perez Betancourt; and his children, Joel Betancourt, Jose Betancourt, Samantha Torres, Brittany Herrera, Christina Cruz, Tiffany Betancourt and Briana Stackhouse. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren.
