He was predeceased by: his father Leonel Garza Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Rosa Alvarado Garza; his wife Maria Torres; his children, Ruby Arriaga of Roman Arriaga, J. D, Martinez, Pedro Garza Jr. and Jacob Garza; and his siblings, David Garza, Jose Garza, Thomas Garza, Angie Garza and Maria Hernandez. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
