It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas E. Heckaman (Indialantic, Florida), born in Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on August 10, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Heckaman and Verna Heckaman; his wife Heather Heckaman; his siblings, Patricia Horvath and Dr. James Heckaman; and his children, Douglas Jr., Janis Heckaman, Heather, James Morrison, David and Michele Heckaman. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
