He is survived by: his wife Heidi Jo Downey; his children, Rachael Downey, Meghan and Blake Wellen; his grandchild Lennon; his parents, Jeanne and Bill; and his siblings, Matt Bowers (Jennifer), Amy Recker (Chris), Rita Wells (Dallas) and Billy Bowers (Kristy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
