He was predeceased by: his son Dale Shiver; and his mother Faye Avinger. He is survived by: his wife Mayrine Shiver; his sons, Claude Shiver, Jr. (Marsha), David Shiver, Jeffrey Shiver (Pam), Keith Chappell (Suzanne), Benny Chappell and Chris Chappell; and his grandchildren, Michael Shiver (Ashley), Thomas Shiver (Laura), Joshua Shiver (Rebekah), Kayla Mims (Justin), Brooke Shiver, Emily Chappell, Chazz Chappell (Courtney) and Kameron Stewart. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Interlachen in memory of Claude B. Shiver.
