With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern Stasko of Interlachen, Florida, born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Fern departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Fern may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Fern leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stasko and Mary Wilson Stasko; her son Troy Edelmayer; and her brothers, Mike Stasko and Jim Stasko.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Ledington (Eddie) of Interlachen; her grandson Eddie Ledington II; and her siblings, Ed Stasko, Lucille Benel of Charleroi, PA and Ruth Ann Naylor (Donnie) of Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a good deed be done in Fern's memory.
