He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Howard and Caroline Miller. He is survived by: his children, Catherine Pritzl (Tony), Joanna Palazzolo, Diana Bussen (Kyle) and Joseph Palazzolo (Lori); and his sister Dorothy Chamberlin.
