She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lynn and Marguerite Baird; her daughter Mary Elizabeth; her brothers, Alan Baird, Michael Baird and Jim Baird; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Baird, Rose Thering, Bill Zeien, Raymond Thering and Larry Meyers.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Thering; her children, Lori Root of Shepherd and Mark Butcher of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Andrea Root of Deltona, FL and Tony Root (Kristy) of St. Louis, MI.; her siblings-in-law, Dolores Baird, Marilyn Zeien, Helen "Sal" Meyers, Kathy Kirschner (Bob) and Don Thering (Diane); and her close friends, Pat, Peg and Gabe Simon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
