He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph N. Martindale and Lillian M. Martindale; his former wife Catherine A. Martindale; his brothers, Peter A. Martindale and Eugene A. Martindale; and his son-in-law Lawrence R. Crozier.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara K. Martindale; his daughter Patricia A. Crozier (Martindale); his grandsons, Stephen P. Young (Audra L.), Nathaniel J. Young and Bradford I. Young (Rilee N.); his great grandchildren, Michael J. Young, Brendan A. Young and Natalee C. M. Young; his son-in-law Stephen R. Young; and his friend Robert H. Yono. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Jowett Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Port Huron (1634 Lapeer Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Parish – St. Joseph (1331 7th St, Port Huron, MI 48060).
