He was predeceased by: his sister Ruth Higginbotham Schneider. He is survived by: his children, Donald Jacob Schneider, Jr. (Jessica), Patricia Schneider Allen and Nancy Schneider Taylor; his grandchildren, Michele Allen Platt, Fredric Anthony Allen and Jacob Thomas Schneider; and his great grandchild Gracelynn Quinn Platt.
