He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hatch; his children, Dwayne Hatch, Donna Lunde, Debi Covert and Douglas Hatch; his grandson Brayden Hatch; his sons-in-law, Dobber Covert and Dan Lunde; his sister Nancy Lewis; and his sibling's children, Michael Sims, Gregg, Harold Lewis and Sharon Sims.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude, Kidney foundation or American Cancer Society in his memory.
