James Earnest Fifi Obituary
Jim was a miracle baby. He was not supposed to live past a year but he lived on for 62 years. His life was hard. Not many people can say they had around 90 surgeries and lived until the tale. He was the coolest uncle and I was lucky enough to share a birthday with him.
He loved sports and from his wheelchair he played basketball for hockey, curling, archery and track and field. He could do a billion push-ups without breaking a sweat.
He lived a normal life for being the way he was. He was always a happy man and never complained about anything though. I'm sure he was in pain all the time. He got married and had such a great life.
He was the best brother to Richard Fifi and uncle to Jasmine Fifi and Taylor Fifi being born on the same day as him I always had a strong special bond with one another and he was very important to me even through distance we kept in contact all these years.
He was a pillar of strength and we all looked to him for guidance and advice and picked us up off the ground when we were weak. He never let us cry about anything and had such a strong fighting Spirit. You couldn't help but soldier on because his strength was infectious if he could do anything so could you and he made sure you knew that. He loved his nieces and his brother and we loved him the same. The hole he's left in her life with his departure can never be filled.
"Your old name is not your king. I rename you everything."
He is survived by his loving brother Richard Fifi, two nieces Jasmine and Taylor Fifi and father James Fifi
