It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada J. Gordon of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Quitman, Georgia, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parent Willie; her husband Willie Lee Gordon; her daughter Willie Mae Gordon; her sister Elizabeth Brown (Danny); her grandchildren, Michael, Edward Gordon, Shinita and Destiny Gordon; and her son-in-law Allen Gissentaner.

She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Gordon (William Sanders) and Deedria Gissentaner; and her sisters, Linda Trever and Betty Mae Adams (Carlton). She is also survived by brother: Andrew Laws; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
