She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Stanley Sr. and Leona James; her sons, Ronnie James Sr. (Vicki) and Larry James (Judy); her grandchildren, Velvet James and Jeffrey Jackson; and her siblings, Justice Collier, Hanson Moore, Levi Moore, Willie Stanley Jr., Joseph James (Shirley), Juanita Wynn, Mildred Moore Faine and Sheila Miller (John).
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Maybin; her grandchildren, Mundae, Asiah, Ronnie III, Sade (Sherod), Trevious, Shan (Jermaine), Farryn, Donovan, Atasha, Antonio, Lashell (Shedrick) and Rashad (Angela); her brother Henry Arnold James (Bernice); and her caregiver Davina Smith. She is also survived by 46 Great grandchildren, 10 Great Great Grandchildren.
