He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ellis and Ethel Parker. He is survived by: his wife Clarice Jones; his son Gregg (Mary Ann); his granddaughter Alyssa Williams; his great grandchild John Tucker; his daughter Cheri W. Burnett (Ken Burnett); his granddaughter Christi (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, James and Michael; his grandsons, Kyle Burnett and Kory Burnett (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Micah, Mia and Malachi; and his siblings, Clarence of Marvin, J. C., Harry, John Allen, Joyce, Doris and Mary. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Al, the family would like donations to go to Holiday Hill Baptist Church.
