With sadness, we share the passing of Artelia Daniels in Jacksonville, Florida. Artelia, born on August 5, 1934 in Statesboro, Georgia, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Scott and Lina Mae Pierce; her brother Rollie Scott (Husband-William Roy Daniels); her son Willie Roy Daniels Jr.; her son-in-law Robert Tucker; her sister-in-law Barbara Scott; and her grandchildren, Nathan Lampkins Jr., Tamesha White, Vanesha Humphrey and Alonzo Clayton.
She is survived by: her children, Lena Scott, Luther Jackson Jr. (Gloria), Sharon Jackson, Anginora Tucker, Lester Leon Outlaw (Marilyn), Alice Daniels, Jerri Mitchell and Kathy Caldwell (Donnie); her siblings, John Scott, Roberta Susie Johnson (Roy), Janie Griffin (Lonnie) and Charles Green; and her children, Lavern Williams, Jackie Garrett, Norris and Patricia Brown.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weston's Mortuary (3027 Myrtle Ave N, Jacksonville, FL 32209). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Jacksonville Florida Starts (6620 Arlington Expy, Jacksonville, FL 32211).
