She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Norris; her husband JT Barnes; her children, Veronica Lewis and Ronnie Johnson; and her siblings, Lucille, Owens, Eva Dudley, Brenda Shaw, Hurbert Norris and Ronald Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Symethia Campbell (Clarence), Sandra Chapman, Gregory Jones (Janet) and Paul Barnes (Tanisha); her brothers, Russell Wilson (Angie) of Jacksonville, Ernest Norris (Tiffany) of Jacksonville, Eddie Norris of Jacksonville and Zernie Wilson (Annette) of White Oak, Georgia.; her cousin Patricia Marshall; and her caregiver Denise Oliver. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sweetwater Church of Christ (7009 Wilson Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
