She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Erickson and Joan Erickson; and her husband Michael Van Langen. She is survived by: her son Matthew Van Langen (Christine); her grandson Hunter Vance (Ashlei); her brothers, David Erickson (Terry) and Daniel Erickson (Cynthia); and her close friends, Beverly Kingston and Neva Bisset. She is also survived by son family, her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran Church in Barbara's honor.
