It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara W. Richer in Jacksonville, Florida is shared. Barbara, born on January 21, 1931, passed away on July 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Barbara will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Barbara by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Barbara is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Barbara’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harley Richer, Jr.; and her parents, Elmer Whorrall and Cora Whorrall. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Smith and Kathleen MacLean of St. Augustine, FL.; and her grandson David Harley Richer. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
