It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Baxter C Austin Jr. (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on April 28, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Baxter Clayton Austin, Sr. and Edith Burnett Austin; and his brother Eugene Franklin Austin. He is survived by: his children, Doreen K. Arteaga (Juan), Michael Allen Austin and Teresa Leanne Clark (Cecil). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Memorial Park (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
