She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Vance Thomas and Edwin Harris; and her siblings, Evelyn Edwards, Delores Roberts, Jeannette Goa and Eugene Thomas.

She is survived by: her husband Judge Henry L. Adams, Jr.; her children, Cheryl Taylor (Terry) and Henry Adams II (Hank); her grandchildren, Terry Taylor Jr., Jordyn Taylor and Henley Adams; her sister-in-law Laverne Thomas; her cousin Delores Green; her sibling's children, Deborah Davis, Paula Moss, Renee Edwards, Carmel Johnson, Canard Thomas, Donald Robinson and Tarrence Dunbar; and her friends, Dr. Feacher, Elizabeth Williams and Ruby Ann Robinson. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Oakland (1025 Jessie St, Jacksonville, FL 32206).
