He was predeceased by: his brother Elvin Paul Sheares Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Nija Sheares, Sylvia Benson, Sierra Sheares, Winter Williams, Anthony Harrell, Taqariq Sheares, Frederick Thomas Sheares II, Thomas Sheares and Byron Davis; and his siblings, Beverly Daniels and Forest Sheares. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and numerous great- greatgrandchildren.
