He is survived by: his son Scott Griffin; his grandchildren, Brittany Cox (Allen), Johnathan Conard, Courtney Griffin, Shaun Griffin (Jessica), Dylan Griffin, Madison Murphy and Makenzie Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Noah Cox, Brinleigh Barr, Ashleigh Griffin and Charleigh Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that memorial donations be made to the Callahan First Baptist Church.
