He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Taylor and Nellie Mae Register Taylor; his siblings, Curtis Taylor, Doyle Taylor, Dennard Taylor and Shelby McCullers (Taylor); and his granddaughter Trudy Sarman (Taylor).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Taylor (Williams) of Jacksonville, FL; his children, Kevin Taylor (Michele) of Clearwater, FL, Keith Taylor (Georgeanne) of Jacksonville, FL, Karen James (James) of Lincolnton, GA and Eric Taylor (Crystal) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Bryan Taylor (Debbie), LeeAnn Sox (T. J.), Justin Taylor, Caleb James, Kristin Griffith (Cody) and Lydia Taylor; his great grandchildren, Natalie Taylor, Lucas Taylor, Trenton Taylor, Ashlyn Sox, Kaitlyn Sox and Jamie Lynn Griffith; and his sister Gail Teston (Taylor) of Dublin, GA.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oceanway Congregational Holiness Church (144 Cathy Jo Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
