It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Walter in Jacksonville, Florida, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Walter; his parents, Frank Walter and Doris Walter of New York; and his brother-in-law Harold Schneck of New York. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth L. Roscoe (Terry) of Jacksonville, Dennis Walter of Jacksonville and Ronald Lawson (Susan) of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Martin Busch of Colorado Springs, Colorado., Brianne Lawson of Colorado Springs, Colorado. and Cassandra Lawson of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; his great grandchildren, Kristoffer Busch and Persephone Busch; his sisters, Sandra Hitchens (Doug) of Zephyrhills and Wendy Schneck of Fishkill, NY.; his niece Beverly Schneck of Fishkill, NY.; and his siblings-in-law, JD Jackson Jr. (Carolyn) of Hosford, Carol White (Norman) and Alice Simpson of Clarksville.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Services (1203 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207).
