The family announces the passing of Carl D. Dawson (Jacksonville, Florida). Carl was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William, Jr. and Carla; his brother Bobby (Jan); his children, Carl Dawson Jr., John Dawson (Jane) and Dorian (Lynn DeVries II); and his grandchildren, Daniel Dawson (Virginia), Matthew Dawson (Kristy), David Dawson, Carl Dawson III (Lauren), Emily Dawson and Xander DeVries. He was also cherished by two great granddaughters, one nephew, eight nieces, and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, he requested that donations be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
