It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmen E. Rivera of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her children, Maria Rivera (Juan), Dayna Diaz (Edwin), Jose Diaz, Luis Diaz and Robert Diaz; and her siblings, Maria Rivera, Mercedes Rivera, Ana Rivera, Lydia Rivera, Francisca Rivera, Antonio Rivera, Rafael Rivera and Angel Rivera. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home (4140 University Blvd S, Jacksonville, FL 32216). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207).
