She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Purdy and Doris Purdy; and her husband Alex Chance Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Chance, Henry Chance, Sr. and Curtis Chance; her brothers, Willie Junior Purdy and James Purdy; her children, Álex Jr., Anthony Sr., Judy and Cynthia Lee (Philip); her grandchildren, Tamika, Anthony Jr., Holly, Henry Jr., Isaiah, Shartel, Shakita, Phil' and La'Rhonda; and her sisters, Nita Bryant, Lula Hamilton and Jaretta Cook. She is also survived by great-grandchildren nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
