She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Catania and Angeline Presti. She is survived by: her husband Charles K. Hood, Sr.; her children, Scott Hood (Sarah) of Santa Fe, Charles K. Hood, Jr. (Carol) of Aiken, Brian Hood (Caroline) of Jacksonville, Florida and Catherine Ann Hood-Pittenger (Gary) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Matthew Pittenger, Melanie Goodman, Timothy Hood-Pittenger and Christian Hood; her great grandchildren, Elyse, Nathaniel Goodman and Bowen Pittenger; and her sister Constance Horan of Newport. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
