He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Leroy Sparkman and Mary Katherine Sparkman. He is survived by: his children, Veronica G. Seymour, Miledge H. Sparkman, Paula B. Johnson, Catherine C. Maxwell, Frances C. Wilkes and William L. Sparkman; and his wife Gail Sparkman. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Chapel (11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Historic Catholic Church (4214 Loretto Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223).
