He was predeceased by: his wife Amelia; and his parents, Charles U. Chitty, Sr. and Peggy Sue Chitty. He is survived by: his sons, Charles "Chuckie" U. Chitty, III and Chad Aaron Chitty; his sisters, Barbara Adcox (John) and Marie Merritt; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Scott (Vic), Trace, Marli Scott, Jill Ward (Matt), Maci, Matthew Ward, John Adcox, III (Aryn), Kristy Merritt, Hope and Brandon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cedar Bay Funeral Home (405 New Berlin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Ferreira Cemetery.
