He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellington Simmons and Mary Louise Bunting Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Jacob Simmons and Audrey Adams (Michael); his grandchildren, Carter Adams and June Adams; his sister Patti Chapman; Lisa Lassiter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
