It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Toalston of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Toalston and Rosemarie Cain Toalston; and his brother Steve Toalston. He is survived by: his wife Annette Toalston; his children, John Sherer (Angie), Liz Shumate (Tommy), Fred Afentul and Josh Toalston; his siblings, Tom Toalston, Barb Zwick (George) and Bonnie Mascotti (Ray); his grandchildren, Ariel, Allison, William, Noah, Robert and Sabrina; and his close friends, Rob Bates, Jen Upshaw, James Williams, AJ Williams and Michelle Anderson. He is also survived by fifteen nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Cedar Bay Funeral Home (405 New Berlin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
