With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chauncey Barney (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on June 2, 2025 at the age of 37. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Chauncey may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Chauncey touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funerals (4315 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (1620 Helena St, Jacksonville, FL 32209). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Everegreen Cemetery.
