He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Brunson and Inez Brunson; and his sisters, Diane Waters and Claudia Cherry. He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Manucy and Linda Wilks; his daughter Laverne; his son-in-law Leroy Smith; and his grandson Nicholas Smith. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Memorial Park (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
