It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Williams of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Sanderson, Florida, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Williams and Carrie Davis Williams; his son Daryl Williams; and his siblings, Johnnie, Vernon Williams, Ruth McCormick, Betty McClain and Bessie Lairsey.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Dwayne (Joy) and Dennis; and his sisters, Lucy Williams, Ernestine Robinson and Priscilla Williams. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peeples (14165 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Creek Cemetery (14742 State Hwy 124, Sanderson, FL 32087).
