He was predeceased by: his sisters, Cassandra and Caitlyn Rusk; his grandfathers, David Marselle, Eldon J. Lester Sr. and Thomas Rusk Sr.; and his uncles, Joseph Marselle and Daniel Titley.

He is survived by: his wife Yana Rusk of Jacksonville, FL; his parents, Shawn Rusk and Stephanie Rusk of Kewanee; his sister Cora Rusk of Kewanee; his grandparents, Paul, Donna Britt of Rock Island, IL and Mary Lester of Kewanee; and his great-grandparent Frank Marselle of Princeton, IL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
