He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry B. Stewart and Louise H. Stewart; and his brother Stanley L. Stewart (Shirley). He is survived by: his son Christopher A. Stewart (Wesleigh); his grandchildren, Cooper, Banks and Mozelle Stewart; his nephews, Brian Stewart (Erica) and Adam Stewart (Madison); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, McKenzie Black, Gabriel, Quinn and Maxine Stewart.
