He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Meguiar and Gladys Meguiar; and his siblings, LaNeta Henson, Helen Brown and James Meguiar.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Meguiar; his daughter Victoria Meguiar Smith; his son-in-law Jimmy Flynn Smith; and his granddaughter Christina Alexis Meguiar. He is also survived by several nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.
