He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Candace (Gerald), Ashley, Shannon and Christopher; his granddaughter Catalaya; and his siblings, Cheryl (Bruce), Emma (Tim), William Earl, Cleveland (Barbara) and Lorraine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in David's memory to the City Rescue Mission, Clara White Mission Inc, or the Sulzbacher Center.
