She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Morgan and Merlene Taylor; and her brother James C. Morgan. She is survived by: her husband Robert Carpenter of Jacksonville, FL; her daughter Amanda M. Laster of Brunswick, GA; her nieces and nephews, Devin Lee Deen of Jacksonville and Ashlyn Jordan Deen of Douglas; her siblings, Brenda Dale Deen (Rodney) and Johnny C. Morgan of Nicholls; and her grandson Nicholas Laster.
