He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie Elizabeth Bass; and his sister Pat Kent. He is survived by: his wife Frances "Charlotte" Robbins; his siblings, Gail Davidson and Jerry Smith; his children, Douglas Robbins (Amy Robbins), Derek Copeland (Michaela Tashjian) and Amy Copeland (Charles Beyer); his grandchildren, Alyssa Robbins (Joseph Freeman), Cole Robbins (Faith Robbins), Amelie Copeland, Oliver Copeland and Lawrence Copeland; and his great grandchild Kairo Robbins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Buckman Chapel at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
