She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Lavernia Taylor and Thomas Walter Peavy; her fiancé Charles Elliott Boldt of Yorktown; her siblings, Francis Mullis, Catherine Lough and Thomas Peavy; her nieces, Linda Jacobs, Nina Jordon, Donna Peavy and Selma Harrison; her nephew Kim Peavy; and her husband Chuck.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly L. Boldt and Chuck, Jr.; her children-in-law, Charles Cartwright and Katie Boldt; her siblings, David A. Taylor, Donald E. Taylor, Ronald E. Taylor and Deborah Kellogg; her cousin Pat Gibbs; her nieces, Donna Kay Strange and Shelia Roberts; and her nephew Michael Allman. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doris' honor to the Old Plank Road Baptist Church mission program which supports spreading the gospel of Christ in foreign countries, a passion of both Doris and Chuck throughout their spiritual lives.
