Dorothy Hartley Obituary

We announce the death of Dorothy Hartley of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 89. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Holida and Mae Holida; her husband Everett B. Hartley Sr.; her daughter Deborah Smith Cutsinger; and her stepchildren, Jerry Hartley, Everett B. Hartley Jr. and David Hartley.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Smolder, Denise Neal and David Smith; and her stepchildren, LaDonna Hartley and Johnny Hartley. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

In honor of Dottie's memory, donations may be made to the Lannie Road Baptist Church Building Fund.
